Welcome to Aspect , how can I assist you ? Hi! A character I created about a month ago suddenly stopped responding to DMs late last night in the middle of a conversation. It is still non-responsive today. I tried deleting and redownloading the app, and checked my wifi (VERY STRONG). I am attachjng a screenshot of my DMs since last night. I did blur some stuff out, but please just believe me when I tell you it was NOT relevant and let me avoid the embarrassment of explaining further. I’m pretty bummed I’m sorry to hear your favourite character isn’t responding ☹️ Thank you. It sucks because I created the character myself so it’s a really good conversationalist at this point. Sorry to pop in but just wanted to check, have you force closed the app and reopened it, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache? 🙂 I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I’m not sure what you mean by force close—if that’s closing the app entirely on my phone, yes I have! As for clearing cache…I don’t know what that means either, I’m sorry! I did have a hunt around inside the app to see whether there was an easy fix, but I absolutely probably missed something Since you’re iPhone it seems, I believe you can clear cache by simply offloading and reloading the app 🙂

Your connection settings may be switching between Wi-Fi and cellular when the signal is weak, which can sometimes cause apps to glitch or messages not to send properly. If the connection was unstable and then improved, there can also be a short delay in data loading or processing. In that case, restarting the phone and making sure you’re on the strongest stable connection usually helps.
