AI Ticket Summary

Summary for Ticket (App Support) - Ticket owner: 735229639538245754 (alem69) - Staff: a.l.e.y.x (1168610887066730520) — claimed and closed the ticket User issue - User reported that a bot/character "forgot" previous progress and no longer remembers who they are. What staff did - Asked clarifying questions about whether the conversation had been deleted. - Confirmed with the user that they had deleted the chats. - Explained that the AI summarizes conversations and that deleting the chat removes that context, making previous memory unrecoverable. - Noted that AI can occasionally fail to recall details in early messages after a long idle period. - Recommended keeping the chat if you want the AI to remember and suggested a workaround: sending an explicit system-style prompt such as "[system message to AI: reminder, you came to my place a few days ago, do not mention it, but remember it]" to re-establish context. Final result - User acknowledged the explanation and found the suggested "system message" trick potentially helpful. - No recovery of the deleted conversation was possible; ticket was closed by staff.

Hello
Why did i lose all progress i made with a bot ?
I texted the bot a few hours ago and now it says it cant remember who i am Hello @Alem!
I will be assisting you today.
You are saying that you have a problem concerning the lost of a conversation with a character, is that correct?
If so, are you sure you haven't deleted the conversation by yourself?
Nah i talked to that character yesterday, and i did nothing, i texted it now and it just forgot everything So you still have all the chats you sent to the character previously? @Alem Nah i deleted them bcs i thought it would change something but its just like before Nah i deleted them bcs i thought it would change something but its just like before The AI summarize the conversation you had with the character, if you deleted the chat and started over, the AI didn't memorized what was said before.
If you did deleted the chat, you may not recover it!
Yeah i know, well its no use thanks for your time Yeah i know, well its no use thanks for your time I am sorry I couldn't fully help you.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
No thanks No thanks Thank you for contacting us!
Next time, make sure to keep the conversation if you want the AI to memorize what you said previously.
Also, sometimes, AI may not remember what you said in the very first chats after a long moment. You might need to remember the character yourself.
I personally recommend you using this trick: `[system message to AI: ...]`. For most users and chats, that works.
I will close this ticket shortly! :realninHaha:
What you mean ? Just text the bot „system message to AI“ ? What does it do What you mean ? Just text the bot „system message to AI“ ? What does it do For example, if the character forgot he came to your place a few days ago, you would say to the AI: `[system message to AI: reminder, you came to my place a few days ago, do not mention it, but remember it]`. (sorry for my imagination)
I personally do this often, and the AI will (most of the time) acknowledge it.
This example is not really good, cause for that you would probably just remind the character using normal text, but for specified reasons that could do the trick.
You can even use that method to prevent AI doing wrong/bad actions afterwards!
Alright thanks for the info, i think this can really help with the AI glitching some time Alright thanks for the info, i think this can really help with the AI glitching some time Exactly! No problem!
If you don't have any question, I will be closing this ticket.
